Editing help is available. Gordon Elmo Young (April 26, 1907 – August 20, 1969) was a United States federal judge. Young was born in Malvern, Arkansas. He received an LL.B. from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1931. He was in private practice in Malvern, Arkansas from 1931 to 1939. He was in private practice in Pine Bluff, Arkansas from 1939 to 1959. Young was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. Young was nominated by President Dwight D. Eisenhower on August 18, 1959, to a seat vacated by Jesse Smith Henley. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on September 2, 1959, and received his commission on September 10, 1959. Young's service was terminated on August 20, 1969, due to death.
