In 2002 he served as the executive producer of The Time Machine[5]. Leibovit had earlier obtained the rights to the H.G. Wells book and the 1960 MGM motion picture The Time Machine through the George Pal estate. He then later produced this $80 million remake with Dreamworks / Warner Brothers.
